What can I say? It has taken months to be able to access our blogs! Every time that I (Linda) tried to access our blogs, I could not create anything!! Very frustrating to say the least... but I'm back! :-)

We have had a very busy few months with the Prophetic Training School and soccer season, not to mention Linda returning to work after a very long break.... and in the meantime God has been very good to us.

We have had Pastor Josh Moyo preach at the Connecting Well, and Linda has brought a couple of messages as well, the last one being "Blessing and Grace.." which really focused on The Lord being The Good Shepherd who loves His sheep and the fact He would go after one and leave the 99 to find one who was lost. His arm is not to short that He won't reach everyone who is in that pit of despair, and His Heart longs to hear us Praise Him and Worship Him and make Him our Lord and saviour in all we do and say. His heart is for the lost and broken... Oh to have a heart like His; overflowing with Grace, Mercy and Love, never too busy to stop to care for others!

The principle of the blessing is so powerful that it is one key to releasing the Blessing of God on a life, not to mention the joy that it brings to the giver of the Blessing. To see a life turned around and hope restored is priceless.... only God can do it! There are five elements to the Blessing, and each one is powerful in itself. All of us have a deep need to be loved and accepted and the Blessing principle releases and blesses, and actively stands beside a person to help them be all that Christ has ordained them to be. There is nothing better than seeing a life changed!

A few months ago, The Lord spoke to my heart (Linda) and said we had to take care of our TERRAIN.... that is to Train, equip, recognise the call on a life, release them into it, activate the gifing in them, inspire them to do it, NOW! It was an exciting Word to speak and hopefully we will see the results as we do that for the precious people that God sends our way.

The next Connecting Well is on the 12th October and all are welcome. We are hoping to have a "tag" team preaching/ speaking.... so if you feel inspired and you have something to say/ sing/ perform (dance or drama) (around 10 minutes in length time wise) then give us a call, and we will try to fit you in! There is a diversity in talent and gifting within the Body of Christ and we would like to see it in action in our meetings!

Be blessed in the meantime, and remember, we are here to help you and inspire you, to help you run the race with passion and zeal. If you need prayer, then we are more than happy to pray for you, so please let us know if we can do anything for you.

Prophetic School of Ministry

Hi all,

Friday night was the first night of the 6 week course that Rod and Kerrie Christensen and their team are presenting down here in Rockingham. It was extremely encouraging and most inspiring and hopefully we will see it grow as word gets out! The Lord gave me (Linda) Psalm 1: 1-3 for these meetings, and He impressed upon me the character and nature of the people who will be coming to this school..... the part I liked best was in verse three of the Amplified Bible which says that "he shall be like a tree firmly planted (and tended) by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; it's leaf also shall not fade, or wither; and everything he does shall prosper ( and come to maturity)." It is time for us to grow in the things of God, character and gifting.

We are looking forward to this Friday night at 7.30p.m. There is a cost involved $15.00 for one person and $25.00 for a married couple. Rod and Kerrie are in full time ministry and they live by faith, so remember a labourer is worthy of his hire. Let's not devalue the Gospel by devaluing the labourer.

On Time - On Target!

Hi,

Here we are again..... time is ticking away quickly and The Lord wants us to know that we need to be On time and On target. Jesus was always on time and on target, in the right place at the right time... and when Jesus appeared, things happened. The Word The Lord gave me was really about the woman at the well in John 4:14 how she was his Target for the day, and that He had to be alone with her for a time so that He could let her see the revelation of WHO He was. In her hurry she left her waterpot, and ran to tell people that she had met with the Messiah! What an honour for a woman who the world perceived as a wicked woman! Jesus had to wait until the disciples were not there as they would have questioned Him and propbably would have hindered what He had to do. Sometimes in our lives we need to have time alone with God without interference as He wants to reveal Himself to us, in order that we are changed, for His Glory!

She was the target of his visit to the well, and He was just on time to meet her. Her life was dramatically changed as she had an encounter with Jesus, and she became a "catalyst for revival." A catalyst is something that causes a reaction, so when The Lord visits there is always Salvation, Healing, Deliverance, and His plan and purpose accomplished.....

Lazarus was also a miracle waiting to happen, and The Lord was also on time and on target when He arrived at Lazarus' tomb, sometimes we have circumstances that meed that miracle working power that was released to raise Lazarus from the dead. The Lord knows the exact time and place of our Visitation. Let's not grow weary in well doing, we will reap in due season if we don't faint!

The Lord also told us the purpose of the Connecting Well was to know our terrain and to help Train, Equip, Recognise the call on people's lives, Release, Activate them in their call, and Inspire them NOW. Terrain is a military term, so we always need to have the strategy from The Lord.

We had a prayer time afterwards where The Lord moved powerfully. If you would like the Cd of the message it is available.

The Presence of God

Hi all,

Our meeting was held on a very hot evening, and a few precious "hungry" people braved the heat to be there. It was a beautiful meeting where the Presence of the Lord was very tangible, and people were touched in a mighty way as God ministered to those precious ones who had lost hope/ vision who were trapped in the "maze" of life... God used the music and His presence to lift people out of their circumstances and to help them take a step forward to look forward this year with expectation and renewed hope.

We did not have the usual mix of worship songs, we believed that God wanted us just to worship from the heart, so our worship time was beautiful.... Tracey's music and her heart for worship transported us to the heavenly places, and Steve's new bongos were an added bonus, along with the new sound system and lectern, we truly have been provided for in setting up this well. To God be the Glory!

The Word was all about Gideon, oh, it is so easy to relate to him, thinking that we could not possibly do what God has called us to do, but at the end of the day if we follow God's instruction, then we have the victory. Steve delivered his message well, and we believe that people could relate to Gideon in many ways.

That's about it for now. We will be back at our "Connecting Well" on Friday 2nd March at 7.30p.m.

May God's richest blessings rain down upon you and your family. May His Grace be evident in your lives, and may you have the boldness and the courage to step out to be and to do all that He is asking you to do, in His strength. Let this scripture reasonate in your heart and on your lips....

"Connecting Well" ~ Meeting Feb 2nd 2007

Hi all,

Our first connecting well meeting for the year is being held on Friday the 2nd February at 7.30p.m. in the Waikiki Community and Family Centre, 36 Rand Avenue, Waikiki 6169.
Please come prepared to share what is in your heart for The Lord, your vision, your desire, what you want to see happen in this area, and what your ministry is. Our heart is to connect others with like minded believers.... working together for the Kingdom of God.
We will be taking up a love offering to cover costs. There are no child minding facilities at present for the meeting, but we will look into having some if the need arises later down the track.

Being "well connected."

Hi all,

"Well" here we are again! Our first "connecting well" meeting went very "well" (no more puns, I promise!). Again there were around 40 people who came to soak in the Presence of God and to drink from the Spirit of God, to be refreshed, refilled and empowered to go on. Sometimes we can become very weary in well doing, so we need a "refill" to get "our get up and go" back.

Bill introduced the meeting and handed over to our worship team. We had an awesome time of worship singing new songs to the Lord. (because being new, we don't have many overheads etc yet. )

Pastor Phil Howell shared a little bit about the Lord challenging our religiosity, and us having to break out of the old mould of doing things in the old ways. He was also explaining that The Lord is raising up a "New Breed" of people who will be able to minister to the needs of this generation.

During worship Bill had a vision of The Lord standing with a large Bow in his hand. He reached back and pulled an arrow out of His quiver, and then He put the arrow in the bow, and drew it right back. As the arrow was released it was released over the city of Rockingham, and as it was released he could see there was a banner attached to it with the words "Love, Joy, Peace, Mercy, Grace." The banner made an arc from one side of the city to the other, and when it was fully released the rain poured out from under the banner. ~ The rain being representative of the Holy Spirit being poured out in this region. The words represent the nature and character of God. ~ His Banner over us is Love ~ Amen!

Then I (Linda) spoke for a little bit on "wells" and how important it is to be "well connected." Without that connection we become isolated and dry, and finish up, not flowing in the river, but in some dry place, alone, barren and unable to function in what God has called us to do.

As you can see from the picture, we are also like the clay pots surrounding an uncapped well, so we need to be filled from the well (Jesus) and then be poured out for the Lord. Of course we need to be refilled, so we need a well to come to to receive Living water for our thirsty soul, Hence the concept of "the Connecting Well"... being connected to Jesus first.

There was also a time for ministry, where many were touched and "refilled," we are looking forward to hearing testimony of what the Lord has done, after all, it is His meeting and His business!

We will be having monthly meetings starting from February, due to Christmas and the tent crusade in Perth. We have made room for that. It is not God's intention that we become "too busy" or burnt out, so wisdom prevails! Let's "go for it" in the New Year!

Our home church will still be meeting, so you are welcome to come to visit us there. 8th December 2006 and 5th January2007. ~ This meeting is in our home, not the hall.

Hi all,

Just a reminder that our first "Connecting Well" meeting will be on this Friday at 7.30p.m. in the Waikiki Family and Community Centre, Rand Avenue, Waikiki 6169. We are so excitied about what God is going to do! (Oil wells burn you see:-) ) So if you need to be "refired" then come along for a fill, if you're thirsty come along for a drink! If you're weary, and need encouragement come along... why not come anyway? ~Better than watching TV...come, spend time in the Presence of God, and meet with Jesus during our time of Worship. Pastors Phil and Jeannette Howell are joining us for the evening.

This meeting is for believers from all over to come and connect, make new friends, and just enjoy each other's company.Will keep you updated with the latest news! ~It is time to be the "church without walls." ~ being "well connected" connected to Jesus first!

October 27th Word for Rockingham ~ Rod and Kerrie Christensen

Prophetic Word - Rockingham
Oct 27th 2006

I saw lightning & a river. The lightning stands for the activity of God in this place. The river is symbolic of the River of God and contains the life flow of the His Spirit, bringing forth healing, mercy & grace. Signs & wonders & miracles will flow here in this place.

I heard the Lord say that you will begin to hear a new sound. And the new sound is the release of the prophetic in a very strong measure. It will take a pressing in and a laying hold of this for you to apprehend it.

You will hear a new sound. You will walk to the beat of a different drum. It will be a precise beat; a distinctive beat. And many young people will come to the sound of that beat.

There will be a harvest as this sound comes forth. There will be the sound of breakthrough in the streets as the demonic strongholds come tumbling down.

Prophetic directives in line with this word:

Pray for the release of the prophetic in your region; in your churches; in your home groups.
Press into the Lord for a release of very high-level streams of prophetic flow, because God wants to release these streams here.
The prophetic anointing releases change. It brings new direction to the church.
It empowers the Body to walk in alignment with the plans and purposes of God’s heart. Amos 3:1-8
Through the prophesying of Haggai & Zechariah, the spirits of Zerubbabel (Governor of Judah) and Joshua (the High Priest), were stirred to rebuild the house of God, along with the remnant of God’s people. Haggai 1:12-15.
When the prophets are prophesying the work of God will be fruitful!
Pray for the ingathering of the young people; the warriors of the Lord.
My husband had an amazing prophetic dream some time ago, where young people were standing out in the middle of a paddock in the midst of a huge thunderstorm. They were prophesying with profound authority, the decrees and the testimonies of the Lord into the earth. Pray for the release of the young.
The prophetic changes people’s mindsets.
It particularly targets and brings down the spirit of religion over a region. It does this by virtue of the fact that God is releasing the ‘now’ word; the ‘new’ word, to His people. This transcends and overtakes the old, traditional, unwavering mindsets of men. God constantly releases His newness & freshness into the earth.
I remember vividly the first time I sat under the ministry of an anointed prophetess many years ago. As the word of the Lord came forth, I could literally feel the old religious ‘veil’ being removed from my eyes. The prophetic has the power to do that. It will bring change to people’s lives.
The prophetic ushers in the presence, the power and the glory of God.
It removes ‘ceilings’ in the spirit and it allows the Lord of glory to come into His temple. The prophetic anointing brings the heart of God close to the people. People’s shackles are broken, as lives come into new-found freedom.

Precious saints of Rockingham, keep pursuing the Lord’s heart.
Out of this place of intimacy, you will begin to release the sounds of heaven, bringing freedom & change to your region!

We have posted this word that was given on 27th October because we believe that it contains strategy for prayer for this region. Praise God for the prophets! ~ When God wants to build something He sends in the prophets and the apostles to lay the foundation. We are looking forward with great anticipation to see what happens next!

Well, well, well!

Well, what can we say? Rod and Kerrie Christensen ministered to us at our meeting last night. We were blessed and excited to see around 60 "hungry" people turn up! When Rod made the alter call I don't think I've ever seen people run so fast to receive! Jesus was in the house!!

We just want to say thanks once again to Rod, Kerrie and the team. This was a strategic meeting, where God was giving strategy to Open the windows of Heaven and shut the gates of Hell...... quite a message. It is available, there are 2 Cd's with the message on them, so if you want a copy, please let us know.

Thanks also to Jamie for his pulpit and equipment, and to all the team who worked in the kitchen, putting chairs out etc... It is much appreciated.

We are excited about what God is going to do next.....

Our next meeting is the 24th November,7.30p.m back at Rand Avenue in the Community Centre there. Pastor Phil is coming down for this meeting as God is on the move, and we want to hear and see what He is doing..... as we are part of the "Without Walls Network" we have asked Phil and Jeannette to come down to give us their input to the region...we need them here with us to help build and establish what God wants to do. The Lord told us that the last meeting in the Community Centre was "strategic."
Pastor Phil and his team have a "well" in the city once a month, and we believe that we need a well here too! Travelling to Perth can get a bit much, and we want to draw local people in to worship Jesus, be saved, set free and delivered, encouraged and empowered to move on! ~ Let's see Jesus lifted high in this Region!

We believe that we have the strategy for our group is to be a "connecting well" within the region where the Body of Christ, and everyone and anyone who is thirsty and dry, even the unsaved ( we believe for salvation to come too!), can come together once a month to "connect" and to flow together for the Glory Of God..and then go back to their own home church/ church, or wherever to bless others as they have been blessed. This does not mean that we think we "have it all" or are "above" anyone else, we just want to see "unity in the Community" of believers.... after all, that is where The Lord commands a blessing!

I found this vision that The Lord gave Bill way back in May, now it makes sense! (Praise God!)

Isaiah 43:18 Do not (earnestly) remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. 20 The beasts of the field honour Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen. 21 The people I formed for Myself that they may set forth My praise ( and they shall do it.) (Amplified Bible)

Don't you love it when the Lord lets you see something Heavenly in a beautiful vision that your mind can comprehend and really appreciate? I love the way that The Lord speaks to us, it is so beautiful, and so necessary so we know what He is doing, and it keeps us "on track."

The Lord Jesus Christ loves the Body of Christ, and as Psalm 133 says where there is unity the Lord commands a blessing, life forevermore. This vision was given to Bill on Tuesday night 23rd May 2006.... it really is encouraging! Be encouraged and blessed by this.

The Lord spoke through a lady in this meeting and she said we have to be "connected", to the Lord. The key word was "connected" (The Lord also spoke to me (Linda) at the beginning of the year and told me it is so important to have "Divine connections," for His Glory, we need to be in the right place at the right time with the right people , doing the right thing.)

In the vision there was a large field with wells in it. There were many wells in there. The wells were in a circle like a giant cartwheel, and the hub or focus of each one was on the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The Hub represents Jesus. The Lord was digging a trench between each well to connect them up. The wells were dried up, empty and crusty on top, because they were so dry.

The Lord then took me to a desert in another vision and He showed me many oasis' in the desert. Between each oasis people travel a long way and there is no life in that place, only dryness and barrenness. It can be tiring when you are in that place, but you know you have to come to a place of reaching an oasis eventually. The Lord said " When I connect these oasis' together, I will bring life."

Then the Lord took me back to the first vision with the wells. The Lord said He is digging channels which will connect all the wells which represent the five fold ministry in the Body of Christ. These channels will join the five fold ministry so that they will flow as one body.

The dry crusty wells represent the present church structure, where each one is on its own... but when the Lord digs a channel between people/ ministries, then the five fold ministry will be in place, all connected, working together, and filled with Living Waters, so that the Life of the Lord Jesus Christ will flow through these channels bringing unity and the fullness of the Presence and Power of God into these people and ministries. Even though these wells are focused on the Lord at present, there is still a bit of dryness and crustiness, because the well is not "full". When the channel is dug, the living waters will be able to flow freely, and truly we will see "Rivers in the Desert."

Jesus is the source of the water which is flowing through these channels and ministries, the focus is not on man, title or position, the focus is on Jesus and obeying the Lord.

This is something to look forward to and work towards.... for the Glory of God!

We believe that this is what God wants to do with us and the people He gives us to work with. We don't want to "do church" we want to "be the church", meet with Jesus and meet with other believers, see them be set free, encouraged and sent out once again to be a witness to the World that Jesus Christ is Lord! Hi all,
This is a picture of Rod and Kerrie Christensen who are coming to minister to us for our next meeting 27th October 7.30pm... they are bringing their worship team as well. They move powerfully in prophetic ministry, so we are expecting God to do great things in our midst, bringing encouragement, and "a word in due season" for those who need it.

It is important that you let us know if you are coming,if we find we have too many numbers for the house meeting, we will hire a hall for the evening.

Also, we will be taking a love offering for them on the evening. A labourer is worthy of his hire, and it does take time to prepare for a meeting in prayer, study, and waiting on the Lord, not to mention petrol, and time, which is precious. Preaching and delivering the Gospel is a "real job" and we have to treat those labourers with great respect.

Time is certainly ticking away very quickly, our September meeting has come and gone, and we saw the Lord move again in a very precious, gentle way, being Our Shepherd who takes care of His sheep. (Psalm 23)

Zechariah 2 vs. 4, 5 ~Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. For I say the Lord, will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.

Vision:-

1. To see Jesus exalted.
2. To bring unity in the Body of Christ ~ unity in the community of believers.
3. To come together as a living breathing Body with all parts working together.
4. To see people function in the capacity that God has ordained for them.
5. To build relationships, with consideration, honour and respect for our God given talents and abilities, and for each other.
6. To provide a place of love and comfort and rest for the weary, where we can be encouraged to “run the race” with passion and zeal.
7. To be “well connected” to The Lord first and each other. Jesus being the author and finisher of our faith. ~ Divine connections are so important!

The Lord has placed a deep desire in our hearts to see the people of the body of Christ come together in unity. We believe it is a God given cry from the heart of the Father to His children, to lay aside doctrinal differences and walls of opinion and accusation and false perceptions which the enemy has used to keep the church apart, and to come together as a living breathing Body with all parts working together ~ the Head being Jesus Christ Himself.

It is a vision which does not exalt anything other than the Name of Jesus. It is a vision that does not put man or woman on a platform or in a position where the gifts and callings given to each one are exploited or abused in any way.

The vision that lies in our hearts is to build relationships between people in the Body of Christ, with consideration and honour and respect for our God given talents and abilities and for each other. We believe that we have much to offer each other as friends and brothers and sisters in the Lord. It is important that our needs are met spiritually because only then can we become effective for Christ, and made whole as a person to do the will of the father.

When we come to a place where we know that there are arms of love and comfort, no condemnation or judgment, no fear of intimidation, or pressure to give, financially or otherwise, then we will have a place where the Love and compassion of Jesus is found, and we will learn to walk in the Love of God and be able to give it away to others who need it.

If we can provide a place of hope, comfort and rest for the weary, a place where we can be encouraged, where the hand of friendship and acceptance is always stretched out, where we can find new friends within the Body of Christ, with no ulterior motive to fill a building, with no ulterior motive to entice anyone away from their own place of regular fellowship, but to be a refuge of rest, comfort and love, sensitive to each other, then we will be able to bring others in to feel that love and bond we will share. All that the Lord is looking for is a place where He can come and place His feet….. we need to build that place through the Word, worship and Prayer, through becoming mindful of the needs of others in the community. The Lord is close to the broken-hearted, He did not come for those who are well; He came to set the captives free... that we could be free to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, the reality of who He is being evident in our everyday lives.

It is time for the Body of Christ to lay down the walls that divide, and come to the banqueting table of the Lord, to fellowship one with another, to be able to express what is in our heart, and to honour the Lord Himself. Let us link arms together for the Lord to build His Kingdom on Earth.

How?
Holding meetings once a month where all are welcome to come to receive a fresh touch from Jesus, to be refreshed, refilled, and refuelled to spread the good news of the Gospel in the community. To build a House of Prayer, Praise and Worship, to see Jesus Glorified in this city through worship and the Presence of God. To become Living stones and wells full of “Living waters” that build the Kingdom here on Earth. Nameless, faceless believers who love the Lord, and just want to meet with Him in a “church without walls.”

There is a place of commanded blessing, where brethren in Unity dwell… so the song says. Psalm 133 says that where there is unity the Lord commands a blessing ~ life forevermore.

· Train, develop & release ministry gifts, recognizing that every man has a ministry.
· Develop a strong prayer base to under gird the ministry
· Take "revival fire" to the city, country & the nations
